
ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A Lee County magistrate judge has found probable cause in the murder case against Thomas Darling.
Darling is charged with murdering a 2-year-old girl who was left in his care.
The ruling means Darling will case will now be presented to a grand jury.
The 30-year old Darling was babysitting Lila Lyons in April at the home on Knollwood Drive where he rented a room.
GBI agents believe he dealt a blow to the toddler with such force that it lacerated her liver and she bled to death.
