THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) – A Thomasville man is out of the hospital now after being shot in the face.

Last Tuesday, police say Richardo Mitchell was hosting a small party when one of his guests, Travius Baker, decided to play a prank.

Baker left the party but returned and pretended to rob the house through a window.

Mitchell grabbed a 9 millimeter handgun and shot Baker in the eye.

The bullet traveled down Baker's neck and out his back. Baker's cheekbone was shattered but his eyesight was not affected.

Thomasville policed arrested Mitchell and charged him with aggravated assault and reckless conduct.
