Terrell Academy plays Frederica for the GISA AA girls state soccer title in Macon.

It is the Lady Eagles first trip to the title game after playing in the state semifinals twice in the last five years.

Some members of the Terrell Academy soccer team have already won state titles this school year in softball and in basketball.

The Lady Eagles would love to finish the school year with a triple crown of state titles.

Carley Law said. "Not too many people can say they have that many championships that they have won. It has been a big dream to win them."

Marlee Locke said. "It is awesome we have the athletic ability to make it to another state championship game. It is just exciting to play."

Terrell Academy faces some challenges in their bid for a soccer title.

The other two championships were in Class A and they compete in AA in soccer.

Frederica has won five of the last seven AA state soccer titles.

Millie Foster said. "We know who their key players are and who we need to stop. At the same time we are going to go out and play our game and not let them control the game."

Terrell Academy plays Frederica at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday at Mount de Sales soccer complex.
