ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  A tip on a stolen camera from a burglary in Leesburg, led police to arrest two people and solve three crimes.

Leesburg Police recovered, several large flat screen Tv's, laptops, and a gun. Police say the suspects, Jacob Hanes and Leon Roberson broke into two neighboring homes on Academy and Main Street and stole several of the items. The suspects also had items stolen from the Lee County Main Library in 2008. Police are asking anyone who may have purchased or received some of the stolen items to turn them in now no questions asked or face charges later.

"The main thing that we want to do is recover as much of the items as we can, if they'll give us a call and bring it back to us there's no questions asked and if we find out they've got the stuff then we'll have to do, what we have to do," said Leesburg Police chief Charles Moore.

That means charges for possession of stolen goods. Hanes and Roberson are each charged with three counts of robbery. Jacob Hanes also faces a charge for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
