ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Negotiations between the Dougherty County School Board and their new superintendent have finally come to an end, and the board expects to vote on the contract Wednesday.
About two months have gone by since the board voted to hire Murfree.
The School Board released it's agenda for Wednesday meeting Friday, and the last item to be discuss is Murfree's Contract. A copy of the agreement won't be available until the meeting.
The Board is expected to meet in executive session and review the deal before voting on it during the public portion of the meeting.
Wednesday's meeting will be held at 12:30 in the School Administration Building.
