Douglas - On Saturday May 15th the Coffee County Sheriff Office conducted an arrest warrant round-up in Douglas, Coffee County that yielded thirty six arrests from illegal drug sales. A total of sixty three individuals were targeted for the round up. The identities of the arrested are as follows:

Johnny Blank – Schedule II drug, 803 Williams St. Douglas

Alexander Smith – Schedule II drug, 810 Williams St. Douglas

Monterio Dante Boler – Marijuana, 507 W. Cherry St Douglas

Anastacio Ortiz-Alvarado – Marijuana, 195 Isaac Brigmond Rd Douglas

Tadesses Butler – Cocaine, Hayley Cir. Douglas

Kody Mckinnon – Schedule IV drug, 163 Claryce Ln Douglas

Gary Anderson – Schedule II drug, N. Alabama St. Broxton

The round-up was the conclusion of a six month long illegal drug investigation conducted by the Coffee County Sheriff Office Drug Unit. The participants involved in the round-up included Coffee County Sheriff Office, Ware County Prison and Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration.

During the course of executing the round-up several individuals were found to have additional illegal drugs and or firearms in their possession and will be facing more charges. Not all the targeted subjects were able to be located on Saturday and are still at large. The at large subjects are as follows:

Coffee County Sheriff, Jerry Pope, stated that he was very pleased with the results of the round-up and that Coffee County Sheriff Office will continue its effort to locate the remainder of the subjects targeted for the round-up.
