ALBANY, GA (WALB) -Dozens of kids had an eventful afternoon in Downtown Albany.

The Flint RiverQuarium kicked off it's Third Thursday event for this summer. For $5.35,  parents can bring their kids to the riverquarium to enjoy the activities.

Thursday little ones got to hold an alligator during an exhibit, they watched an Imagination Theater movie and enjoyed all kinds of arts and crafts.

"It was cool how the alligator felt," said Jordyn Faulk. "It felt squishy."

The next Third Thursday event will be June 17th.
