DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) –Drug agents in Douglas are working extra hard to get drug users off the streets. 40 people were arrested in a drug roundup last weekend.

Most of the cases involved pot, crack cocaine and prescription pills. They still have warrants on another 20 suspects.

"We went to one individuals home with an arrest warrant and we were able to locate a large amount of cocaine about 3 ounces of crack cocaine and powered cocaine," said Major Daniel Paulk, Coffee County Sheriff's Office.

They will try to get some fingerprints off the cocaine and take out some more warrants on trafficking cocaine.
