ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Today was a cake walk was just part of the fun at an annual picnic sponsored by the SOWEGA Council on aging.

The seniors met at Chehaw park, where they ate, danced, and played games.

"This is the Senior Citizens picnic. We have site one and site two and I'm with site one and we just have a real good time," said Fred Hewitt.

"We come out and we play games and dance and have cake walks and eat lunch, we just have a great day," said Kay Hind of the SOWEGA Council on Aging.

More than 200 seniors attended today's event.
