ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Albany city leaders met behind closed doors again Wednesday evening for nearly two hours to discuss personnel problems in a city department. But they still haven't solved anything.

They also met last week to discuss a matter involving attorney Kathy Strang.

She's the worker who found a gun in City Attorney Nathan Davis's desk - leading to a 3-day suspension for him.

We're told Davis had previously tried to fire Strang but was over-ruled by the City Manager.

The city commission again took no action Wednesday night, but Mayor Willie Adams says a decision should be reached in the next 7 to 10 days.

Melanie Slayton, an investigative attorney from Columbus, also attended the meeting and is reviewing the case on behalf of the city.
