JEFFERSON, GA (WALB) - After winning 13 straight region championships the Bainbridge boys track team finally finished on top at state.
The Bearcats won state for the first time in school history finishing eight points ahead of Clark Central. The only event Bainbridge won was the 400m relay. Denzel Gamble took 2nd in the triple jump and in the 110 meter hurdles. Garrett Reynolds took 3rd in the 100m dash.
In Class A Pelham won state after Dominique Brown won the long jump and triple jump. The Hornets finished 12 points ahead of Eagle's Landing Christian.
