The Albany Humane Society is getting a makeover thanks to some help from a national humanitarian group and national dog food company.
By Wainwright Jeffers - bio | email ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Some south Georgia parents got a bit of education and some extra tools to keep their children from being victims of crimes.
Kindervision held an event at the Flint Riverquarium on Saturday.
For 20 years the organization has emphasized the importance of education in preventing the abduction and exploitation of children.
Kindervision made DVD's for parents with critical information should a child go missing.
There were arts and crafts for the kids, they also got to meet first responders.
