ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The standards for the Darton golf team are very high.

So high that the Cavaliers have not been happy with two straight runner-up finishes.

That is because the Darton golf team had won three straight national titles before those second place finishes.

Dale Dover's team leaves the weekend for the national tournament in Arizona believing they may bring back national title number four.

The Cavaliers are coming off a region tournament win where they shot two over par as a team in the three day tournament.

Every day a different player shot the low score of the team in the region tournament.

A performance that reminded fans of those three national champion teams.

Josh Cone said. "Everybody is starting to play good. Hopefully, we are peaking at the right time. I don't think we shot under par yesterday in qualifying."

Roy Steinberg said. "We played probably the best three rounds we have played all year. Everybody is confident. We are just ready to go now."

The NJCAA Division II golf tournament starts Tuesday in Phoenix, Arizona.
