ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Hundreds of men and women put on their party hats and attended a fiesta to raise money for people with disabilities Thursday night.

The Albany Advocacy Resource Center held its biggest fundraiser of the year which was a  Mexican Fiesta.

The money raised will go towards transportation, lift vans and other needs to help ARC's more than 1,100 clients in south Georgia.

"This is our second annual fiesta and it has grown so much this year so we're very excited about the turnout," said Deputy Director Sandra Edge.

Organizers also held a silent and live auction. They hope to raise $15,000 this year.
