WASHINGTON, DC (WALB) – Some Congressional leaders don't like a gun law that could soon go into effect in Georgia.

This year, the General Assembly passed a bill allowing gun owners to carry their weapons more places, including parts of airports not controlled by the federal government. The Governor hasn't signed it yet.

New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg introduced a bill to prohibit guns anywhere in airports. He says it defies common sense to allow guns in airports.
