TAMPA, FL (WALB) - Valdosta State pitcher Brett Kennedy allowed just one run in seven innings in the Blazers 6-3 win over West Florida in the first round of NCAA DII regionals Thursday.

Blazers face regional host Tampa on Friday.
Albany State was hanging with #1 Southern Arkansas for five innings.
Muleriders break open a close game with a three-run sixth and win 6-1.
Larry Johnson took the loss with his defense committing four errors.
