ALBANY, GA (WALB) –13 people have been arrested in the past week in Worth County as the Sheriff's Office breaks up a large meth operation.

On May 4th Sheriff Freddie Tompkins and his drug agents raided this mobile home and shed on Sledge Road.

33-year old David Kyle Bryan of Omega was one of 7 people arrested at that mobile home.

That raid led to the other arrests.

Sheriff Tompkins said the 13 suspects worked together to provide the ingredients and then shared the meth they made.

Tompkins said "Yes, sir, they been doing it regularly. Most of the ones, a lot of them was the same group that got caught last year over in Turner County and Tift County. But they have not come to court yet. So they were back at it."

Sheriff Tompkins said meth manufacturing is becoming a more serious problem in South Georgia and expects more arrests as they continue their investigation.
