THOMAS COUNTY, GA (WALB) – Thomas County grand jurors indicted the city of Pavo's mayor pro tem for aggravated assault.

48-year old Bob Miller was charged with battery back in February after he was accused of hitting his wife in the face numerous times.

The district attorney's office upgraded the charge to a felony. Now the case will be heard in Superior Court.

Miller remains in the Thomas County Jail without bond.
