CORDELE, GA (WALB) –Deputies in Crisp County seized thousands of dollars after pulling over a car for a window tint violation.
A deputy smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search turned up more than 7,000 dollars in a zip lock bag in the center console.
The driver said it wasn't his car and claimed he knew nothing about the money, so the deputies took it and turned it over to federal authorities.
