BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) – Authorities arrested two men after a wild chase in Bainbridge Friday night.

A Georgia State Patrol trooper says he tried to stop 26-year old Maurice Burney for driving without a tag.

When Burney wouldn't pull over, the trooper attempted a "P.I.T." maneuver but Burney's car spun around and continued.

Burney finally stopped the car a mile away, got out and ran. A Decatur County Sheriff's deputy riding with the trooper held three other passengers, including 20-year old Lorenzo Snell who was wanted on a probation violation, while the trooper chased Burney on foot.

Both were taken to Bainbridge Public Safety for booking.
