Baker County - Law men are looking for a man who jumped into the Flint River, attempting to flee Mitchell County deputies.

Dougherty County authorities assisted Mitchell County deputies Monday in a search for a man who jumped into the water near Plant Mitchell.

Mitchell County deputies attempted to question a man who was reported acting in a peculiar manner, and talking to himself.

He ran from them, and jumped into the water. He acted as if he needed help, and finally swam across the river to the Baker County side, and ran into the woods.

He has not been found, and authorities are still watching the area attempting to find him.
