ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Two men are behind bars this Mothers Day weekend after police found marijuana during a traffic stop, one of them hid some of the drugs in his shoe.
The suspects are 26-year old Frederick Davis and his passenger Henry Wright. The men were pulled over on the Liberty Expressway just before midnight.
The Dougherty County officer smelled marijuana inside the car. After a search police found one pound of marijuana in the engine compartment.
Wright also had eleven bags of pot stuffed in his shoe.
Both men were taken into custody. The Albany Dougherty Drug unit is investigating the incident.
