Calhoun County star heading to Fort Valley State

After leading her team in scoring, rebounding and assists this past season Calhoun County senior Krystle Dcott is now taking her talents to the collegiate level.

Scott, a four year starter for the lady Cougars, signed a letter of intent with Fort Valley State this morning in Edison.

The shooting guard has done it all in her high school career totalling over 1400 career points and also excelling in the classroom as the number one student in the senior class.

 The Calhoun County Lady Cougars were 19- 9 this season, with seven of those losses coming to AA state champion Early County, AA state runner-up Randolph-Clay and class-A state champion Taylor County.

Krystle Scott, who was also being recruited by Paine College, Alabama State and Darton College, joins a Fort Valley State team that has won 4 straight SIAC championships.
