ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Second Harvest Food Bank is partnering with the post office to Stamp Out Hunger. All you have to do is place non-perishable food in a bag by your mail box.

Your mail carrier will pick it up Saturday may 8th, and take it to the food bank to help those who are less fortunate.

"There's a demand for service and donations, but the donations are not there, so to clean out your pantry to help your neighbors so to speak will be good," said Second Harvest Food Bank Mgr. Tony Hall.

You can also drop off food at K-Mart, or the Harvey's or North Slappey or Radium Springs Road, or Roses in East Albany.
