ALBANY, GA (WALB) – GBI agents are now involved in the search for a Tift County woman missing since mid-April.

28-year old Sunday Blombergh was last seen April 22nd here at her home on Briarwood Drive in Lenox.

Investigators say neither her credit cards nor her cell phone has been used since then.

They've questioned family members, friends, and co-workers and have followed up on some leads, but have little to go on.

"It's very unusual, very suspicious and it's very difficult to try to pinpoint the last people who were with her, what she was doing, who she was with so its very difficult to follow up on a case like this due to the circumstances," said GBI agent Mark Pro.

Blomberg's 7-year-old daughter is now staying with her ex in-laws.

Investigators say they've had a helicopter up twice searching and continue to check Tift and surrounding counties for leads.
