DAWSON, GA (WALB) - Terrell County basketball star Alrek Brown's career didn't end in the final four of the state playoffs.
On Wednesday Brown gathered with family and friends at Terrell County High School to sign a scholarship with Chattahoochee Valley Community College.
Brown will join Monroe star Brandon Blakely who signed with CVCC a couple weeks ago. The two are good friends and looking forward to playing together.
"We played on the same AAU team together but I wanted to play on the same high school team he played on but college even better" said Brown.
Brown averaged 15 points and more than 6 blocks a game in his final season with Terrell County.
