Fitzgerald's Brown is student-athlete of the week

FITZGERALD, GA (WALB) -  Fitzgerald baseball player Kurt Brown is this week's WALB Student Athlete of the Week.

The pitcher-first baseman is 6-2 this season and is batting 377 for the Hurricane baseball team that plays at Central Macon Thursday in the state playoffs.

Kurt Brown is planning to major in business at Valdosta State.
