ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Georgia Perimeter swept the Darton baseball team in the opening round of the region 17 playoffs. The Jaguars won 7-5 and 10-4.

The South Georgia College baseball team advanced with a pair of wins against ABAC 10-2 and 10-1.

The Darton softball team won a pair of games in the losers bracket of the region 17 tournament and will play Young Harris at 10:00 Sunday morning.

Darton beat Coastal Georgia 5-4 and Middle Georgia 6-5.
