ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany business fell victim to a burglary this morning but the suspect didn't get very far before landing in police custody.

Around 4:00 Saturday morning, officers were patrolling the area around North Magnolia Street when they heard glass breaking. While on foot, they discovered a window was broken at Nancy's Cleaners. Minutes later officers spotted Kenny Guest carrying a cash register and arrested him on the 400 block of Baldwin Drive.

Investigators say Guest stole two cash registers and an undetermined amount of money. He is being held in the Dougherty County Jail charged with Burglary and Possession of Tools for Commission of a crime.
