TIFTON, GA (WALB) – A big love affair is happening in Tifton for the next two days. The Love Affair Fine Arts Festival Kicked off Friday in downtown.

Saturday hundreds gathered in Fulwood Park to sample and buy fine arts and crafts from vendors from all over the country.

This year organizers say more than 10,000 people are expected to show up at the festival, which started in Tifton more thirty years ago.

"It's actually called Love Affair because it began on Love Avenue which is a street here in Tifton, and everyone loves-a-fair and happened to be on Love Avenue, until it got bigger and had to be moved to the park," Tracey Vellidis, Tifton-Tift County Arts Council, Pres.

The festival continues at noon Sunday with a number of dance and song performances.
