Albany- Twenty-eight year old Jomokenyette Tipton, stole a truck while on a work detail around three this afternoon.
Tipton was being supervised by a recreation department employee who got out at a store and left Tipton in the truck with the keys.
Tipton took off, abandoned the truck at Harding and Dorsett, and then took off running. He was in jail for probation violation.
