ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  A Camilla man was in good condition Thursday despite being stabbed nine times Wednesday night in Camilla.

The suspect is a family member, and police say they need your help to get him off the street. Cousins Leroy and Roger Walker got into an argument at the home they shared on Watts Street around 11:30 PM Wednesday night. Police say Roger grabbed a knife and stabbed his cousin repeatedly.

"He had told the offender that he didn't want him there, that the rest of the family members didn't want him there, he wasn't going to let him in to stay and it sort of pretty much made him mad and it went from there," said Lt. Robert Casterline, Camilla Police Investigator.

Leroy Walker was transported to Phoebe Putney Hospital here in Albany. Police say Roger Walker already has several warrants for his arrest on probation violations. He's now facing one count of aggravated assault.
