ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Albany city commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday night against a proposal that essentially would have given a raise to commission members who didn't accept the city's health insurance. Commissioner Tommie Postell previously suggested adding money to a commissioner's expense account if that commissioner chose not to sign up for the city's health plan. Even he voted against that idea Tuesday night.
