ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Panthers are enjoying another week off.
getting another week to rest for the second time in the last three weeks.
It is their second bye week this month.
The first bye week was not planned since the Panthers scheduled game at Houston was canceled due to Houston not able fielding a team in the SIFL.
Head coach Luscious Davis says the week off will allow some players to get well.
The Panthers are going to need everyone healthy.
Because when they return to action, they face eight straight games and five of them will be on the road.
Luscious Davis said. "I like it but I don't' like. I don't like it because any type of rhythm that we had is broken right now. So we have to start all over a week from now."
The Panthers next game is at home May 8th against Lafayette.
