BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) –Bainbridge investigators are also asking for your help to identify a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint over the weekend.

Take a look at this surveillance video from the Quick Buys on Faceville Highway.

Just before midnight Saturday, a man walked into the store and ordered the two clerks to lie down behind the counter.

Wearing a sock on his left hand the crook emptied the register, but he dropped most of the cash as he ran through nearby woods.

"The search dogs left the parking lot area of the store, searching west/northwest into the wood and located some items of evidence that will help us in our investigation," explained Bainbridge Public Safety Investigator Chris Jordan.

If you have information on the crime contact Bainbridge criminal Investigations at (229) 248-2043.

You may receive a reward.
