PENSACOLA, FL (WALB) - Valdosta State got one win but West Florida won game two of a Sunday doubleheader and with it the Argonauts get the GSC East division title and #1 seed for next week's conference tournament.
VSU won game one 18-6 and the Argos won game two 14-5.
VSU plays Delta State next Saturday at the GSC baseball tournament.
The Valdosta State softball team also split a Sunday twinbill at West Florida.
Lady Blazers take game one 5-0 and lose 4-2 in game two.
The GSC softball tournament is next week.
In Douglas, South Georgia College completes a three game sweep of first place Middle Georgia.
Tigers win game one 10-9 and take game two 5-4.
South Georgia claims the #2 seed in next week's region tournament.
Darton drops to #5 and will play at Georgia Perimeter.
