ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The winds from an approaching storm could now blow Darton off the top of the leaderboard at the GJCAA Region XVII golf tournament at the Stonebridge Country Club.
Darton shot a 293 in the second round and have a 26 shot lead over ABAC.
The Stallions shot a 302.
Darton was led by Josh Cone with a 71.
Cone and Roy Steinberg are tied for the individual lead at 144 or even par.
Steinberg shot a 73, Jared Wagenaar shot a 74 and Taylor Wellborn had a 75 with Darton throwing out a 77 from Trey McQuaig.
The final round is scheduled for Sunday morning.
