ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  A two year old Lee County was found dead inside her home Friday morning.

Her family tells investigators she fell off a bed. An adult inside the home at 121 Knollwood Drive, called 911 around 7:30 AM Friday morning. They told dispatchers that the little girl wasn't breathing. Paramedics administered CPR but the toddler was pronounced dead at Phoebe Putney Hospital. The family told investigators they heard the child crying and found her on the floor. Investigators say they still have a lot of unanswered questions.

"Anything like this we've got to check out, especially when there's some unanswered questions about the situation," said Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals.

GBI crime scene techs spent the day at the home investigating the scene. They are awaiting autopsy results to determine the child's cause of death.
