COLUMBUS, GA (WALB) - The Albany State Lady Rams showed why they are a #1 seed in the SIAC softball tournament.
The Lady Rams beat LeMoyne-Owen 17-4 in five innings in their opening game.
ASU plays Clark Atlanta on Friday.
The Lady Rams had five players make the first team all-conference team.
They are 1st baseman Keandrea Kegler, 2nd baseman Deanna Birdsong, outfielder Dominique Bryant and pitchers Sasha Reece and Ashia Meredith.
Monroe's Ta'Shelya Bynum made the second team.
