ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Darton softball team keeping it in the family.

The Cavaliers signed infielder Lauren Velez from North Forsyth High School Thursday morning..

Lauren is a sure fielding infielder and her older sister Erica is a sophomore infielder on the Darton softball team.

Lady Cavs host Georgia Military College in a doubleheader at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
