COLEMAN, GA (WALB) - Randolph-Clay's Asha Alexander is headed to play at Columbus State.
Alexander has been one of the cornerstones for a Lady Red Devil team that won four region titles during her playing days.
She averaged over 16 points this season.
Alexander's talent attracted several Division I offers but family and the chance to play right away have led her to Columbus State.
Asha Alexander said. "Everyone kept saying go d-one. Why go DI when I am gong to be sitting on the bench for two years. So, I can go somewhere else and just play."
Asha Alexander is an honor student who will graduate in the top five % of her class.
