ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  An Albany man facing drug charges here in Dougherty County has also entered a guilty plea to similar charges in Mitchell County.

When drug agents busted Patrick Donaldson and his brother for trafficking marijuana in February in Dougherty County, they took a large amount of marijuana off the streets.

Wednesday, Patrick Donaldson entered a guilty plea to possession with intent to distribute in Mitchell County Court.

He was sentenced to 10 years intense probation, which means he will be monitored more closely and has more restrictions than traditional probation.

He still faces charges in Dougherty County. Agents seized more than 10 pounds of pot worth more than $46,000, plus nearly $4,000 in cash from their pickup truck.
