ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Deerfield-Windsor Lady Knights six-year run as GISA 3-AAA champions ended on Tuesday.
Westfield beat the Lady Knights for the region title at Darton College.
Hannah Notaro of Brookwood won the region singles titles and Southland's Sarah Catherine Parker/Caylee Hammock won the doubles title.
The Deerfield-Windsor boys won their first region title in six years.
The Knights won the region title with a second and third place finish in doubles.
The region 3-AA tournament was at Sherwood Christian where Tiftarea won both region titles.
Govind Chinna won his fourth straight region title.
The GISA individual state tennis tournament starts Monday in Macon.
