ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Deerfield Windsor saw one streak and and a new one begin at the GISA region three triple-a tennis tournament.
The Deerfield-Windsor boys won their first region title in six years.
The Knights won with their doubles teams finishing second and third.
Southland's team of Sachin Kotheri and Ryan Singley won the boys doubles title.
Westfield won the girls region title ending Deerfield-Windsor's six year run as region champions.
Hannah Notaro of Brookwood won the region title in singles.
Southland's Sarah Catherine Parker and Caylee Hammock won the girls region title.
In region 3 AA the Tiftarea boys and girls tennis teams won the region titles.
Sherwood Christian's' doubles team of Jessica Blackwell and Casie Wright won the girls doubles title.
Tiftarea 8th grader Anmol Chhina won the girls singles title and her brother Govind Chinna claimed the region title for Tiftarea in boys singles for a 4th straight year.
Tiftarea also won the boys doubles title with the team of John Sims and Garrett Rippy.
The GISA individual state tennis tournament starts Monday in Macon.
