WALB's Valdosta Bureau is on the scene of a manhunt in Lowndes Co. - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –  Elements of the Lowndes Co. Sheriff's Officer and Remerton City Police have the assistance of a helicopter as they search around Bemiss Road and Knight's Academy Road for a man wanted for burglary.

They are looking for a black man about six feet tall, with a heavy build. They have already arrested a man driving a red Suburban, and recovered stolen property in the vehicle.

They think the burglary happened about 8:30 this morning.
