Ross is the boss at Stonebridge

John Ross fired an 8 under 64 Saturday to claim the 13,000 dollar first place prize at the Albany Senior Invitational.  Ross finished the 54 hole tourney at 12 under par.  The Freeman, West Virginia native birdied 18 to finish off the best round of the day which included 8 birdies and no bogeys. 

Bill Anderson of Covington, Louisiana entered the day tied for the lead at 7 under par with Pine Mountain's John Goodwin but could not keep pace with Ross.  Anderson tied for second at 9 under par, while Godwin dropped to a tie for seventh at 5 under.

As far as the local talent went, Albany's Bobby Stroble headed the list with a 2 under 70 today to finish tied for 5th at 6 under for the tourney.
