ALBANY, GA (WALB) – An 18-year-old Dougherty County youth is charged with putting a prescription drug in his younger sister's drink.
Joseph Shines is charged with aggravated assault. His mother called police on him Sunday for putting an Adderall capsule in his 16-year-old sister's orange juice.
Adderall is used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Investigators say he was mad at his sister because he was put on restriction.
The sister was not injured. Shines remains in jail.
