ALBANY, GA (WALB) - AAA says an average Georgian will spend more than $8,000 to operate a car this year. Higher gas prices are the main problem.
We caught up with one driver at a gas station Friday who's doing what he can to lower his cost. Danny Lovett told us, "I'm just checking the air pressure in my tires to make sure they're optimal pressure, save me gas mileage. I'm trying to cut down on my trips that I make and make my trips count because gas prices are really high these days."
AAA says regular maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations can keep your car running longer and save you money.
