ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police and Dougherty County Sheriff's Deputies stopped a home burglary in progress this morning and arrested three young suspects.

They received a call about a break-in at 1901 Greenvale Street around 10:00 Thursday morning.

When they got there, three burglars were still inside. Two of them broke through back windows and ran, but police and deputies caught them quickly.

They arrested the other burglar in the home. Two of the suspects are juveniles and deputies had to taze one of them.

They're at the RYDC. The other suspect, 19-year old Dextra Carter, is in jail charged with burglary and a probation violation.
