Person killed in morning wreck - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

Mitchell County - (WALB) Investigators responded to a traffic fatality right now on Highway 19.

It happened in Baconton at the intersection with Highway 93 where a new traffic light was recently installed.

It appears a pick up truck ran that light and was struck by a truck from Southern Flooring Warehouse Company from Marietta.

One person in the truck was killed.
